I'd say all top level sports players will have a built in hatred of losing. Can't imagine the likes of Tiger Woods or Cristiano Ronaldo being much fun to be around after they've lost. Has to be a factor in why they're so successful, compared to performers who might have similar levels of ability but...

Not sure really. I can remember him talking about retiring and saying the Sala tragedy had taken a lot out of him but thought he'd had a change of heart at the end of the season. I may be wrong though.

Spurs is a new ground though, which are always popular. I feel like theres definitely been a drop off in the interest for away games in the last year or so. I reckon the numbers would back that up. We probably won't even sell out at City or United this season I bet.

I'd say it's pretty clear Ben Mee was stalling on signing. Why else would it have dragged on all summer? Most likely scenario is his agent spent all summer touting him round, there was no interest whatsoever so he decided to resign with us.

Sean has to keep many players happy. Even the ones not playing. You need to be able to justify yourself to the players for them to see that they are treated equally. You need to judge him by mistakes, as much as successes - thankfully, we don't have many. Sometimes not signing an expensive flop is a real win as well. How much did Fulham spend again last year? Or you could argue not strengthening our starting 11 for about 2 years could prove to be a huge mistake...
