Ben Mee was extremely lucky to keep his place after the first half of last season. When Hart got dropped after the Everton game I personally thought Gibson should have been given a go as well. Heaton coming back in would have sorted the captaincy situation out as well.

The first half of that season we were absolutely shocking. Lots of people want to make Hart the scapegoat, forgetting that in lots of games he saved us from getting an absolute hiding, Wolves away for example.

Such a shame about the cricket, especially with this weather we're having. Think the 20/20s were due to start on Friday as well. Would have been a good money spinner for clubs looking at the weather forecast.

Would be a shame if he bows out at the end of this summer having had to play in empty stadiums. Next 2 winter tours are India and Australia, not sure how appealing they'll be for him tbh.

I've definetely drunk less. I enjoy going out socialising and having a few pints. I do have a drink at home, but sitting there drinking on my own just doesn't interest me really.

The journalists need to learn to ask one specific question. Asking 3 or 4 things at once just makes it easy for them to waffle and completely avoid giving any straight answers.

As others have pointed out, Cummings and his wife are very wealthy, connected people. The suggestion that they had to drive 5 hours up to Durham and couldn't get any help in London is absurd.

According to the Guardian Cummings isn't popular at all with the rank and file Tory MPs. I also get the feeling the older, traditional Tory voters won't be that keen on him. Will be interesting to see how the likes of the Daily Mail go tomorrow.

Even before all this I was starting to get fed up with the aggro of flying. Said I wanted to explore the UK more, so maybe Devon or Cornwall. I've only ever been to Newquay in that part of the world.

The Tories seem hell bent on no deal, despite the risks. The looming recession also gives them the perfect excuse. When their no deal Brexit turns into a disaster they'll just shrug their shoulders and blame it on the coronavirus.

It's a hell of a coincidence that most of the complaints seem to be coming from teams in a bit of relegation trouble. If they don't want to play furlough them. I reckon they'd soon change their tune if their wages dropped to 2,500 quid a month.

Players will soon change their tune if they have to be furloughed and their pay drops to 2,500 a month. The cynic in me suggests the clubs at the bottom have instructed their players to do all they can to get the season voided.

I wouldn't personally class either Wright or Cole as world class. Neither were good enough to even force their way consistently into the England team even at their best. I agree with those that think Boris won't be there for the long haul. Too much hard work now, and he doesn't look like his hearts really in it to me. Plus his health scare gives him a convenient excuse to stand down.

Will only work if there's a lot less traffic on the roads and it's done properly, rather than a half arsed token gesture. Look at the way it's done in places like Holland and Denmark.

If it is possible to keep people 2 metres apart then it should re-open on Monday. That would include most shops, garden centres, golf courses etc etc. If we wait another 3, 6, 9 or 12 weeks, nothing significant will change in that time, so why wait? Agree completely. If he sees his contract out with us that will be 10 years, and I wouldn't be surprised if he felt he'd done all he can with us. If a decent offer in the Midlands or London came up I feel he'd definetely be tempted, allowing him to move back home with his family.
