Re: ARTICLE: Defour joins Antwerp

I said so many times that not all Defour's issues were physical. The fact he has played weeks ahead of where he was supposed to be with Burnley just supports this. The bloke was a fraud and a wage thief. Sadly some people believe him to be the best player since McIlroy. Good fecking riddance to his...

Re: England vs Australia 5th test

I saw an interview with Botham earlier this year when he said he was considering cutting down on his TV work but didn't know they'd axed him along with Gower. On a personal note I'm not too bothered with Gower going but it's who they bring in to replace them. I get the feeling Hussain or Atherton h...

Re: England vs Australia 5th test

Gower and Botham will be missed hugely on SkySports cricket coverage. Didn't realise Botham was going as well. Can definitely tell with Gower that it wasn't his choice to finish. Might get a job with the BBC, they've got the rights to some cricket from next summer, mainly highlights but better than...

Not seen anything posted to say 1) he has had an offer of a new contract or 2) he has turned a new offer down. Has anyone else? Nothing official, I just get the feeling Dyche would rather keep him and that we wouldn't let him get into the last 12 months of his deal without offering him anything. We...

I reckon it's likely we'll have offered him something but he's chosen to run it down. Can't say I blame him really, since his first season he's never been given a proper run in his favoured position.

The young lad Tom Davies seems out of favour there. If it continues worth looking at this summer or in January? Hendrick likely to leave and Cork another year older, we could do a lot worse than this lad depending on us affording his wages.

There's being fit and then there's Dyche fit. Being able to run around a lot is more important than technical ability in a Dyche team.

Wouldn't mind seeing Hendrick given a decent run in the middle instead of Cork. Cork seems to be one of the undroppables but unfortunately his performances these days are nowhere near justifying that status.

I'd say the reason Bardsley is on the bench ahead of Taylor is that he is capable of covering both sides.
