Even if you disregard replacing his goals, we haven't replaced his amazing first touch and close control, hold-up play or most importantly, his raw direct pace!... He also knew our system inside-out and had a never-say-never attitude... We'd be far better off with him in the team!

He steadied the ship and was a safe pair of hands but he was also the most dour and negative manager we have ever had!... This was reflected in his interviews where he ran us down every time as a tiny club with no money... It got a bit much after a while and I prefer a more positive person in charge...

So we have literally hours left in the transfer window and have spent over 100m, yet... From our peak last season... We are weaker and have less leadership in defence overall... I do believe though that Amdouni has a lot of quality and will be a good player for us - Berge adds another touch of class as well.

VK is here to win, he’s upgraded nearly every position for a reason. He hasn't upgraded left-back, right-back or the number 9 spot and the wingers are not an upgrade either... I also still think we were stronger when THB was in, no matter what the results said... The only upgrades are the number 10...
