Did anyone read a thread last week titled why you shouldn't spend big in January?

I doubt it judging by the lack of replies. The football managers on here certainly didn't or just ignored it as it didn't fit with their agenda / stick to beat the club with.

Moss was the ref for the fixture at OT last season and was desperate to give them a penalty. Gave one , liner overruled it yet his free kick spray was still visible when he decided the slightest contact on Lingard was enough to get them back in the game.

Where’s everyone gone who wanted DD to have a blinder? Odd isn't it. I want villa to lose 10-0 with a DD stinker and get relegated with Norwich and Eddie's Bournemouth. I lost interest in the FA Cup years ago , terrible kick off time (especially for the travelling fans) and generally losing interest in football. I don't blame the club for this though.

In Bentley's opinion he doesn't expect us to sign anyone. That's doesn't mean we won't and he is correct everyone has an option. I'm thinking of using mine next season.
