Re: Adama Traore

As a Boro fan, the second half of last season he was unreal, unplayable. Never seen a player as exciting as him since Juninho at the club. He is only 22, he will go onto much better things. I wish him well, he is far too good for the championship. His end product is improving. I think a few people w...

He’s Boro through and through. Great leader, had a fantastic season in the premier league, not so great last year. Last summer he signed a new contract after we turned down £20 million from WBA and pulis then WBA manager said it would be very hard to get Ben from Boro. Most Boro fans are more worrie...

No idea if the story is true, but if it is, embarrassing would be the word. I'd eat Donkey **** on the moon if we got Gibson for anything less than 15. I should think Boro would want at least 20. Don’t think many Boro fans, myself included think we would get more than 18m at most for him after last...

Re: Ben Gibson- should we/shouldn't we?

I am surprised no one has taken him from Boro already. He's already knocking on the England door with Keane but without PL experience he's not going to make it. Isn't he related to Gibson the chairman? His wage demands may be beyond us Gibson is expected to stay at us Boro. West Brom have bid 20m a...

Boro fan perspective here! I'd be surprised if he is coming to us as it looks like we are about to wrap up Braithwaite for £9 Million. That would leave our attacking options as Braithwaite, Bamford (This is his level!) and Gestede (Plan B substitute?). the £60,000 wages seem unrealistic for the Cha...

McGuire had a year left on his contract and was at hull. Gibson is at Boro and has 4 years left on his contract and we don't need to sell. Rumours from the club are if a top 7 club doesn't meet the clubs valuation, he will stay. Simple as that. Burnley may not value him at 30m but his club does.

Greame bailey Spurs told to pay £30million for Swansea's Alfie Mawson - similar fee quoted by Middlesbrough for Ben Gibson. Both look likely to stay. Yes I understand but. Is it not beyond the realms of possibility to go for Gibson? We could even throw in ablueclaret as a sweetener! Think you have set the bar with Keane, with one year on his contract left. DC cannot speak on behalf of Middlesborough. However Bamford had a blinding season for them -won Championship player of season and scored a load of goals for them. So you think Keane will have agreed terms with 2 clubs at the same time despite the fact that neither have agreed a fee with Burnley or even made an offer / approach. Why would he need or want do that ? We all know he is leaving - when there is a concrete approach he can talk to the clubs who make ...

Let us hope you are wrong as if he or his agent thinks he can command 60-70k a week he won't be coming to Lancashire, sadly. I know we, Boro are keeping a very close eye on Snodgrass, was reported a 7m bid was tabled last week. His agent works out of Yarm, Boro and Snodgrass has a house on a 1 year lease to Jordan Rhodes in Wynyard. Snodgrass is interested in a move to us but will Hull play ball.

It's an odd choice by Karanka. Really odd. He's not worth 6 million, nevermind 10 million. Honestly I think he's pretty worthless after the past 18 months. I'm not saying he's not good enough, it's just he hasn't played consistently for nearly 2 years. Maximum I'd expect us to pay would be 2 millio...

Because we introduced a new system in 2014. All tickets are sold through ticket sale terminals and we don't have them in the turnstiles. It's not just Burnley, I don't know of a single Premier League club that would allow you to pay at the turnstile. Boro fan here. We either have to go online/phone...

8 actually, must have made a nice change losing for once! Doesn't really matter anyhow, it's a new season. Totally different kettle of fish. I would say you have the second best defence of the promoted sides. Us (Boro) conceded 8 at home all last season and coincided less goals than any other side in the top 4 divisions, including the premier league with less games.
