Re: Ben White gets called up
Think England will really struggle at the Euros. Southgate seems to get terrified as soon as we come up against a decent side and revert to playing ultra-defensively.

Re: Are you bothered?
I expected England to finish bottom of the group, so have been surprised by their success so far. It’s been an excellent World Cup, but I can’t get excited by this England team for some reason. I’m really not bothered if they win on Wednesday or not. I think their performances at the previous 4 or 5...

And if you liked that hot-take, you're going to love the RATM poster I've just put up in the common room.

This is a good read on the subject. I'm no royalist but found it fascinating.

Don't cross the road anywhere but a designated crossing, and wait for the green man every time. The police are very hot on jaywalking.

Adam Buxton and Scroobious Pip are both excellent.
Last Podcast on the Left if you like unsolved mysteries/serial killers type stuff and can put up with 3 wacky Americans.
Athletico Mince if you like Bob Mortimer. Some of this stuff is brilliant.

Re: e bikes
Voodoo bizango 29er. They might be sold at Halfords, but these voodoo bikes are designed by MTB legend Joe Murray, and only a fool wouldn’t consider one. The non e bizango 29er is a class leader and at £580 currently, knocks spots of other bikes costing up to a grand. Seriously good bikes. I can se...

Re: e bikes
I think they're still pretty expensive as the technology is still fairly new. Halfords' Voodoo range includes some e-bikes, which as a brand tend to be pretty good value. For an e-bike you're still probably talking £2k at least. Personally I'd go for a normal decent full suspension bike for that kin...

Re: Rules to make sports more interesting
All national sports teams are to be selected by a random draw, like jury duty. It would make the Olympics much more interesting to see Big Kev from Sunderland representing the UK in the high jump

His popularity is completely baffling to me. He’s just your average ‘emotional sixth-former’ singer songwriter.

Re: 48 team World Cup approved
I must be the only person who likes this idea. I quite like watching some of the obscure teams play in major competitions, it will hopefully set up some thumpings. People complaining about the watering down in the quality of the football – how many dire games have there been in recent World Cups and...
