Yes the board are delighted as the dry powder keeps stacking up. They would be delighted in the championship aswell as it’s their level, even then they will conjure up an excuse or 2 about how we can’t compete and not to spend money.

I think a combination of entertainment value vs cost/ doing other more exciting things is the main reason. Because we aren’t competitive in any competition in terms of winning silverware and the football is negative and boring people are drifting to other forms of entertainment instead.

Get down on sauchiehall street. Tons of pubs to choose from. Charing X is where all the skirt goes out anyway. For food I’d recommend going south towards George square on st.vincents street as most of the better eateries are that way. A particularly good one is cafe Andaluz which does Spanish tapas....
