Getting very bunched up in the middle of the table.. one result either way and we're 7th or 13th.
That's quite a difference in prize money come the final standings..
Is it £2m per place ?

And if Jeff was upset by moans and groans by some of our fans, does he think the Rossoneri will keep quiet when he gives the ball away ?

It was a refreshing change tho to see us control the ball and dictate a bit more. And I think McNeil being so comfortable in possession played a huge part in that. It brings out more in Westwood and Cork too, particularly Cork in the way that Defour used to. Everyone seemed to raise their game last ...

He came to Burnley for top flight football. He is moving on for money. I suspect we won't hear much about young Jeff from hereon in. He's not the type that managers fancy. Good solid championship centre-mid. No more than that. If he felt he should be earning more than the likes of Tarks/Mee/Pope/Mc...

Was the contract offer made to Hendrick, knowing he would never accept it?

Hence why it was a deliberately lower salary than he was already on?
May not have been a lower salary.
May have been 2yrs instead of 3.

Numerous other managers lose far more costly players at the end of their contracts. Does this mean their chairmen don't trust them either? It may do. I think one of Hendricks concerns could be that Burnley might decide to withdraw any new contract offer, assuming he's been offered one. And with Brownhill chomping at the bit waiting for his moment, Burnley have a pretty strong hand I'd say. Still hope Hendrick stays tho. We're no longe...
