£100m players at present are the ones who have already won the European Cup/Champions League and are going to a club with even more money. Not promising youngsters (however good) from the lower reaches. I don’t think Grealish had played in European Competition when City paid £100 million for him.

Elliot had an absolutely storming game in the FA Cup for Bournemouth where he repeatedly rinsed Mo Camara.

Was delighted when we signed him. I couldn’t remember O’Connor from the Cup game, but they deffo signed on the same day on Bosmans.

Spicer signed the following season for £25k.
