The Blackburn home game in 2000 was as good as anything pre match and during parts of the game.

Unfortunately the performance on the pitch did not give us the all important goal to compare to the other games mentioned.

Stuff like this shouldn't be aimed at clubs like ours but the likes of Arsenal who charge a fortune. They like the rest of the big hitters pay well over the odds (salary wise) to most of their squad when they could charge a reasonable admission price. Out of those the largest is the 8,500 at Sheffield United but Deepdale in 1973 and probably Maine Road in 1960 would beat that.

I prefer this to what came before Dyche, it is often frustrating but we fought as a club since the mid 70's for this dream and i don't want to see us give it up because it isn't always a bed of roses.

If we bought/loaned him then we'd have to revert to playing a 4-5-1/4-3-3 to accommodate him. Then we'd have to buy a second player who is comfortable playing the number ten role and we still wouldn't have solved to massive issue we have with the central midfield.
