Because it doesn't match up to what the wages were or will be. Just because we pay part of our wages as a bonus doesn't mean that it's not still wages. The £41m for 2016 was entirely predictable, a basic of £28m plus £13m bonuses. The 2015 figure was £29m so a realistic increase from the previous year with a promotion bonus included. But Ian Wright said it was goal bound so should of been a pen. I don't know what the stupid ****ing crappy rules are, but I'm for giving them as penalties. If it doesn't hit his arm it could be a goal. The other three are a nonsense. Taylor was goal side, was pushed and still got the ball any road.
