Absolutely, and it appears Dyche’s lack of a clear budget also hasn’t detrimentally impacted his ability to do his job. We know that he's not a tools down type of chap, but you would think that it would have impacted a little if things were as bad as have been mentioned on this thread this morning....

Normal feelings for any Burnley fan pre season. It's why we are so good at celebrating when we do well.

Although it is better to keep the pessimism to ones self and not spread it. There's a lot to be said about positive energy.
