That should have been disallowed, the replay they played from behind shows exactly what the forward was doing.
But Al Dakill was weak again against Morris, he should have at least challenged him but he was shrugged off as if he wasn’t there.

Re: A ten year old article as Sean Dyche pays his first transfer fee
Underwhelming is an understatement. I remember having a conversation with my Dad, agreeing we needed a striker that would get us over the line and he wasn't that. Maybe that's why I'm not a football manager lol.

Re: A ten year old article as Sean Dyche pays his first transfer fee
It's funny how the mind plays tricks on you, I thought Charlie Austin had left before Sean Dyche was appointed. And Ashley Barnes has to go down as one of the best signings in the last 20 years, if not longer.

An excellent signing, I didn't realise he was only 26 when he arrived.
John Aldridge seemed to do really well at Tranmere, I can't remember him doing anything else after them.

I didn’t realise they were so similar in height, if that’s the case then I hold my hand up. Muric does look a lot taller though like you say.boatshed bill wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2023 10:13 pmTrafford: 1.97 metres

Re: Cherlsea’s goals
I think he means that the extra bit of height Myric has would have enabled him to tip it over the bar. It ballooned into the net just over Trafford's fingers, not his fault but another 2 inch of reach and he saves it. Thanks Spindles, that's exactly what I meant and dsr knows that. But he's one of ...

We have to put Muric back in. For me he saves the own goal and I think he makes himself big enough to save Sterling's goal. I don't think Trafford is big enough, or commanding enough.

It has to be Muric. Last season apart from the odd error, (which every keeper has, no matter how good they are) he was immense. Even in pre season, he’s looked good.

Everton are desperately trying to stay within ffp rules, they’ve got several clubs trying to find a way to have points deducted from them They’ve let several players go because they’ve got no money really and need to chop the wage bill Dyche has inherited a proper sh!tshow, it’s been well documente...

Born in Burnley, I had a season ticket for over 20 years. I emigrated to Australia in August 2008, my last game was the 3-0 defeat to Ipswich. I left thinking it was going to be a long long season, I was gutted I missed it all. I did make it back for the play off final though, but to this day I have...

Such a contrast from last season. It’s been absolutely incredible. Roll on August. UTC. It's been a refreshing change from the last few seasons, and that's not laying the blame at anyone's feet. This season is what every Claret needed, to see a game and expecting us to win has been amazing. I feare...

The story about his time at Plymouth is bizarre, surely the rest of the team didn't hold a grudge because he stopped someone scoring. Something else must have happened for it to be that bad. And the house haunting is crazy.
