Anyone who reads this message board would think our low position in the table is due to our poor defensive choices and inability to pick a good keeper. Some of the more insightful posters have said that we have not taken chances or scored goals. Obviously, taking the chances we missed would have mad...

My view is that if it's used as a derogatory description of travellers then it is a racist term
I am an EU citizen and here in France, it is not a derogatory term. The correct term for a gypsy is gitane, hence the term thieving git.
Compliments of Erudite knuckle dragger.

Surprised in what way?
seems about right to me
More games
More local games
We’d have been a “new ground” for some teams
But on the flip side, more midweek games would see lower attendance
Stupid question, but does this figure include away fans and hospitality?

I was sat in 100 today and that short arsed git with the leather jacket and beanie was constantly jumping up and down slagging off the ref. Most of the coffin dodgers in the BL seem to think he rules have not changed, since the 1950's read Law 12 rule 2 pondlife

I bet it took a while to think of a goalkeeping quote to get into a thread about cost of games, the lengths some people will go to is embarrassing, especially when they claim to support the team. 2 points 1. You are in a minority if you think Trafford is a reliable keeper 2. As a corporate client, ...

They’re 16th in the league below, the league we are the current champions of, the title we won at their own ground.
Stop comparing us to them!

It was a one off cup game, which as history shows the lower teams raise their games. Look at their league games, and league position and give it another thought.
Agree, but my point badly put is that Rovers managed to raise their game - something we seem incapable of doing.

Did you mention this in corporate? You actually make a good point, corporate prices are attractive if you are watching premiership clubs. A few years in the championship will diminish that revenue stream. As I have stated before, very few of the people who attend in the box I am invited to know any...

So tough Rovers may not be in it.
And that is why I question the view that we will walk the championship next season: I think we are in for a decade of reality: that we are a mid-table championship side

I don't get this fascination with team selection. Cork cannot be considered match-fit and, in any case, consistently receives yellow cards. Muric would struggle with the way we are set up for corners and free kicks. The issue is the manager, who sets the tactics and picks a team and motivates them t...

Muric Assignon O'Shea Esteve Taylor JBG Cork Berge Cullen Odobert Fofana That team has at least a bit of the nous which we've so obviously lacked all season. And Benson to get a proper chance from off the bench. Same again seems more likely with the same outcome. On what planet is cork match fit? W...

The problem is not just playing four regular defenders. It's playing four GOOD regular defenders. None of our defenders has proved to be good enough most of the time - none of them. That's why VK has had to bring in two more on loan to try and improve things. Roberts - not good enough and now gone....
