Good luck with that 1 I guess in fairness it's just about as remotely achievable as my suggestion I won't be holding my breath anytime soon

Re: Controversial comment
We'll see, won't we. If we won because Muric made us a much better side, then we will win one or two of the games against Chelsea, Wolves and Everton. If we won because 10-man Brentford were poor, then we will probably lose. I look forward to finding out. I'm sorry you might need to refresh my memor...

Re: Relegation Run-In
Palace probably are on 28/29 I think can't be arsed looking but play forest next if forest beat them & the others pick good results up they might start looking over their shoulder. It's that last spot which is really up for contention from a palace perspective with a gap bridge elsewhere.

Farah Williams gives Garth Crooks a run for his money as being the no.1 worst pundit on the BBC. She really is painfully boring and offers no insight to the game at all. My 10 year old son could offer more knowledge than her and he doesn't even like football! Worst of all, she does a lot of damage ...

I really don't like women commenting on the men's game and vice versa. Last night demonstrated that the 2 on show were clueless and had no background knowledge to offer. Just wrong assumptions. One, that I remember. Being slower at passing doesn't count as "clangers". I'm more referring to incidents resulting in goals being conceded. It's pretty much acknowledged now that muric is the better keeper overall so it's not unreasonable to suggest had he started earlier our points tally would b...

I think it's premature to look on today's performance as a vast improvement that will get us wins. Yes, we hing on against Brentford's 10 men and could have won by more (or could have drawn or lost). But we have played teams in the past, and will paly teams in the future, that are better than Brent...

I've read that Harry Kewell had a clause in his Liverpool contract that he would start in all major finals and, perhaps surprisingly, started the 2005 Champions League final. The game in many ways highlighted what was needed this season, difference-makers. The goal from Fofana gave us something to defend and in turn, allowed us to create our opportunities as West Ham chased the game. Totally the opposite. It's because contracts for personal services can't be enforced that the clubs want exit clauses for when their employee refuses to do his job.
