Re: FA Cup Replays
With all the European competition games and the need to fit in the international fixtures this sounds like a sensible move. Even the lower league teams rest players for the early rounds of the cup so removing the need for pointless replays gets my vote

Re: 2 years without Dyche.
I'd have liked it if Dyche had been able to stay (meaning perhaps that our new board could have recognised the short comings because of the lack of investment) and then given the resources that VK has had to improve the team. It would have been interesting to see what he really could have done with...

Re: Masters golf
I'm not a massive golf fan but must have started watching it in a difficult year for the players. And got sucked in by the commentators nonsense about the course being the toughest about. That they put the flags in the most difficult places if the players have decent rounds. In recent years they've...

Re: Masters golf
Seemed a little bit too easy for the players this year. This stood out as the best tournament for how tough it was, but I'm not sure it gripped me this year. Maybe the players have played it so much, they can easily avoid the hazards? This year -11 won and only 8 people came in under par compared t...

Re: POLL: If we were a Premier League Club - question about playing a game abroad…
I'd like to see one home game and one away game played abroad each season. Football has come on leaps and bounds over the last 30 years but we can't stand still and need to keep innovating and expanding the brand. This idea would be a good start and would love to see competitive Premier League footb...

Would you prefer either
a) Burnley to win the Championship next year and have another Premier League season with Kompany in charge
or
b) Burnley to come 7th-10th next season but have Kompany replaced by Christmas 2024 and have a new manager in place to try and take us up and keep us up

Re: Interesting that potential contract clause mentioned again.
I heard from someone inside the club that this contract clause rumour is true but that it wasn't Trafford or his agent who requested it. Apparently JJ Watt insisted that Trafford has to be selected for 75% of Burnley's PL fixtures as he wanted to put him in his fantasy football team and needed to be...

Re: Is there a VAR compilation video
Yeah, right. That'll be because var don't pick up Liverpool dives and cheating in the first place. The chart would only be any use if it also showed things that var should have addressed and didn't. Pre-var, the big clubs only had one go at getting a fix - via the ref's on field decision. Now we ha...

I saw some kind of article/analysis last week which had a league table of bad VAR decision that had gone against and for Premier League Clubs. Im pleased for Trafford but it adds to my worry that we will lose him to a Premier League team if we go down. I accept we're only likely to hang on to a talent like Trafford for two or three seasons but it would be a massive blow to lose him so quickly and before we see the best of him.
