Allied effort. I believe the Poles had the most hits. There was an Indian Spitfire squadron too. Hitler switched his focus to bombing London which provided opportunity for the RAF to recover numbers. Amazing to think of little more than teenagers doing aerial combat.

Probably not. Lovely footballer, two good feet but has an ongoing problem with hamstrings. However, I love watching him play, the way he moves, the eye he has, the accuracy of his passing. Good player.

Singing songs written by songwriters outside the band does not make for a covers band. The Hollies current lead vocal is Pete Howarth who has been with them for over ten years.
