I predict that Todmorden will evolve into ‘The new Hebden Bridge’ over the next 10 years. Great train links to Leeds and Manchester, a pleasant town centre with an increasing number of interesting private shops/businesses, a very good Wetherspoons pub, a great canal walk (Rochdale canal) to Hebden B...

Yes, I do have an online current account (via a smartphone app) and it’s VERY convenient to use but there are so many horror stories about accounts being hacked that I’m seriously considering going back to a non-online account however inconvenient it might be.

A word of advice (from experience) - if you’re looking to buy a house in the Burnley/East Lancashire area it would be advisable to avoid those built with bricks made by ‘The London Brick Company’ aka ‘London brick’. They are very porous and after repeated torrential rain they become saturated and th...

Yes RHansbury it turned out to be a very simple and well managed process. Went into the ticket office 1 hour before the match, asked for an upgrade, presented the child season ticket, paid £10 to upgrade (over 65) and got an upgrade ticket printed.

Do they still become salesmen, run a pub/shop/chippie or even become a bus driver?
Personally I’d watch numerous past episodes of ‘Homes under the hammer’ and become a property renovator/developer.
What does the future hold for our current pro footballers?

‘Good quality real ale’ and ‘Sports pub’ just don’t go well together. Keeping a ‘quieter’ area of the pub free from the giant TV’s and Muzak might be a possible compromise.
