I'm sure there are separate systems for ground safety announcements and for general message announcements. Against Hannover the ground safety announcements were definitely louder and clearer than just general team line up announcements etc.

The man of the match award is no longer given to the best player on the pitch that day, but it is given to who the match sponsors want to meet after the game. I don't take any notice of the tannoy announcement for this any more.
