Get down on sauchiehall street. Tons of pubs to choose from. Charing X is where all the skirt goes out anyway. For food I’d recommend going south towards George square on st.vincents street as most of the better eateries are that way. A particularly good one is cafe Andaluz which does Spanish tapas...
