This is one of those games where a series of smallpence flutter can innoculate you slightly against the inevitable gut wrencher scoreline. Back the following at 50p each. 4-1 4-0 5-1 5-0 6-1 6-0 Very poor odds, a fourth successive 5-0 defeat would only give you a £5 profit! 6-1 would be very much m...

Not if you look at this way - that money could have been spent towards a few up & coming youngsters with years ahead of them in service & resale value, yes defour had bags of talent I don't think anybody is disputing that but did he represent value whilst he was here, who knows in hindsight had we ...

Defour was the most talented player I have probably seen in Claret & Blue in the 40 years I have been watching Burnley. Yes he had injury issues but we should be grateful to have seen such a quality player at our club.

He was keeper for the school, the town team, played at county level i think and then fairly sure he was signed on apprentice forms by t'Rovers. I thought he had one of his best games for us tonight. Getting a lot of stick for the goal but I am not sure he was marking Son. Dyche won't play him until he's fit. He's not even there yet in terms of fitness, according to Dyche who said he would be given a pre-season first which would presumably include a couple of u23 games. We won't be risking him after recovering from a major tear. Who would you select at right back the...

Unfortunate as I have 2 copies of most the programmes that season but not the Chelsea game. I've been trying to complete the full set of programmes for the 1959-60 championship winning season and just have Spurs at home missing which is very expensive on the few occasions i've seen it offered.

I'm not having it that he's knackered. He's a 20 year old kid for gods sake. His body language has always been the same and that's probably why he didn't make it as a kid at United. Not sure if you've ever played the game, starting to doubt you've ever watched it. Dyche knows what he is capable of. I know what he is capable of on tip top form. He's a winger, short on fitness, confidence and scared of that next injury ruining his career. By definition he will try things and los...
