Re: RATE THE REF - Graham Scott v Southampton

It always amuses me when scores for Referees are given. How many have refereed a match on Towneley let alone a Premier league match. May I suggest that you join Burnley Referees Association or your local RA, take and pass the exam and start to referee matches. Then you may have an idea on how to score.

2000 people were asked out of a population of over sixty million and they say that 70% want action. How do they arrive at that conclusion. Statistics, Statistics and dammed lies.
Until China, India Russia and tbe USA do more to reduce their footprint then the whole exercise is useless.

Posssibly the best centre half Burnley has ever had. Excellent as captain which is one reason why in 1947 Burnley acheived promotion to the then first division and F A Cup finalist. Now that the dust has settled since the defeat at Wolverhampton there is still a lot of pessimisim about. With thirty three matches to go there is a reasonable chance that the team will finish at least half way in the league. It is frustrating to watch the team lose but as someone said Burnley are i...

You are offside it there aren't two defenders between the attacker and the goal when the ball is played. The linesman does not have any idea when the ball is played because he is not looking. and neither does anyone else know because the third picture is inconclusive.

From the third picture the linesman is at least two yards behind play and he can't see the pass being made because he is facing the opposite way.
The old adage is that it is better to have a disputed offside decision than a disputed goal.
