Re: Fancy a laugh? - Villa talk fans forum

It's probably worth remembering signing and coaching good goalkeepers isn't lucky. Opposing fans often see Pope - and previously Heaton - having a great game and believe it to be some great misfortune for them. Like he should be letting in the number of expected goals some pointless stats machine sa...

Love reading the extreme opinions on our midfielders, who all range from a 6.5 - 6.75 out of 10 as Prem midfielders. Sad news, really worrying the connection with athletes but of course it can randomly hit anyone. The writer Joe Hammond wrote an incredible autobiography while he had it. Of course, ultimately a tragic story but very moving and fascinating too. Definitely worth a read but maybe in more cheerful times.

Yep.... £20m over 3 years. It’s not hard to see how the odd bad decision at this level leads to a spiral.
Just shows the flaw with the popular 'net spend' arguments on the internet. £0 in transfer fees but taken £20m out of the club for almost no return.

Aye, we're doing alright at the moment but it makes you think. One of those two gets injured and we're more than likely gone.

The Glazers loan is reasonable and sustainable at Man Utd. They've still taken vast sums out of a previously debt free club over the last 15 years.
