Opposition would double up on him but I remember him running out of play to get past them and still outpacing them. A fantastic player who was super charged by the Longside's roar. My favourite ever Burnley player who will never be forgotten. He really was the Super Taff.

Re: Notts Forest: do you now have hope we will survive?
One point people need to remember about the disallowed goal against Forest back in September. There was 22 minutes played after the disallowed goal which was ample time for Forest to have scored an equalizer had the goal been allowed. The resulting kick-off instead of the offside free-kick would cha...

Scored the winner in the 1990 World Cup Final with a penalty taken with his right foot when he was left-footed. Puts a lot of the many one-footed left-backs of today to shame.

Always dismissed the Pet Shop Boys as a bit of a throwaway 80's tacky electro pop band. That was until I heard this amazing song which could quite easily have been written by a band like The Beatles or The Beach Boys and plain old Neil Tennant https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCHSkXFB46g&ab_channel=...

I was at this game, stood behind the fenced-off area behind the goal. Unbelievably I couldn't remember it at all, which is wild considering Arsenal had two sent off. I only knew where I was stood because I always watched the game from there until they removed the fences.

It was the correct decision to send Foster off, but he elbowed the defender because he was being held, which with the ball in play should've been a penalty.
If he saw the elbow on VAR why did he ignore the holding onto Foster?

Why are people saying it made no difference? Of course it would. We're still in the game with plenty of time to equalise and it was a huge psychological boost to them to allow it. That's what VAR is there for, not to agree with the ref when you can clearly see he's got it wrong.

If VAR had rightfully allowed our equaliser the pattern of play would change and they wouldn't have scored those two goals. So the result should be 1-1, panic over.
