Re: Burnley - No Gibson recall

I've no idea what's gone on but what I do know is - and I don't think I was alone - I was very worried when we just had Ben and Tarky as CB options with, and all due respect to him, Kevin Long as back-up. We needed a better third CB and preferably a younger one. We were going into a tougher season w...

Just to second Tony's comment, if I may: "I’m really pleased you have been able to get some help and I’m also so pleased that there are others on this message board who have been prepared to offer help. Before tonight's matches the teams who were (and who still are) 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th had collectively bagged 3 (three) points from 11 games. So, we're now looking at 3 from 12.

You're right, Rowls. We had a very solid defence. The partnership of John McGreal and Gary Cahill was excellent. Robbie kept us going up front but we only had him for half a season!

Despite all the recent "issues" we've come one hell of a long way.

Total respect for Marc Pugh who battled away to work his way into the PL. I would have thought he will get a deal sorted reasonably easily.
