I was in favour of it. FIFA and UEFA have tried it. It doesn't work. On the contrary. The only strand I'd keep is goalline technology.

All teams have had decisions "for" and "against".

I haven't seen any film of the incidents but don't really care. We won they lost and there you go.

Re: Laws of the Game-I learn something every day

I really didn't know this rule. It's not that often referees order a penalty to be taken again even though most keepers seem to move forwards before the kick is taken. But never seen the taker "replaced". I can see the logic. I presume the manager has this as a policy although you do see players arg...

Laws of the Game-I learn something every day

Well, not quite every day but have just read something I'd never heard of before. In a match in France tonight (live, just happened) between Metz and Lyon, Lyon were awarded a penalty. Keeper saved it but referee ordered it to be retaken as the keeper was (apparently) well off his line when the blok...

In fairness to Jay, it wasn't just the strike but his role in the build-up with Ashley Westwood and our Kiwi.

Clearly the three of them were players drafted in from a "proper football team" disguised in Burnley shirts.
