Shows why “styles makes fights” is a cliche. Joyce batters Parker, Zhang batters Joyce, Parker outboxes Zhang

Does anyone know what the first team squad is using this winter break for? Warm weather training, Barnfield sessions, time off?

Exactly this. At best we’ll have one season to get promoted if (when) we’re relegated before we implode.

Watching both games tonight made it clear that it’s not just us gifting points away due to individual errors. Trippier had a mare and Spurs gifted 2 goals.

Re: If only we had a striker...
There’s obviously more to it behind the scenes but I cannot fathom why Weghorst was sent on loan leaving us with just 2 strikers. Either its fear of us booing him, squad unpleasure with his return, or a falling out with Vinny. With hindsight (glorious thing) its another barmy decision in the summer ...

While I potentially agree, they still have quite a few players that can really hurt us. If we let them get going, it could be a long, long evening. If we really have a go at them, press well, handle their counter attacks, and keep turning them around, it could be our day Handing their counter attac...

Absolutely nothing to do with Trafford. I don’t have the same agenda as some but their 4th was directly to do with Trafford. A poor lofted ball out to Al-Dakhil that he decided to try to jump and chest instead of letting it go out of play. They picked up the 2nd ball and then it ended up with Madis...

I’m 40 and I’ve probably only left about 4/5 games ever. This one was that bad.
Doesn’t reflect on anything except I had better things to do on a Saturday than watch us get torn apart due to our own tactics.

Trafford 5 - some good saves but his (lack of) passing range and (lack of) ability under pressure cost us 2 of the goals. I’m just holding onto the hope that Muric was just as bad at the start of last season and I have a lot more confidence in Trafford at corners and high balls. Al Dakhil 4 - His wo...

Set ourselves up to fail in the last couple of league games. The Forest lineup wasn't without question marks either but at least the back 4 was much more balanced. Best way to describe it. The full back experiments needs to end after 1 game. And I have no idea why we moved to a 5-2-3 after half time.
Still hopefully though. We were bobbins at the start of last season and showed we were quick learners

This board is bipolar at times. Absolute despair after losing to a very good team. Villa will be top 6 easily. Their tactics were something we haven’t faced before. Early goal didn’t help Exactly that in my opinion. Noise beforehand was great (in my armchair via Sky) - they even had to cut away because you couldn’t hear the pundits. Going 0-1 down in 4 mins against a team that normally batters us popped the balloon. It recovered and then they scored the second...
