The lad's 13. Who didn't do stupid things that they quickly regretted at a similar age?

A question for refs

My son scored for his junior team this morning. He took a corner, hit the post, came back to him and he put it in. Nobody else touched it. Should this goal have counted? My inclination is that it shouldn’t have. Thoughts?

Unfortunately I can't get him into the shop until after Christmas. Got the following reply from the shop: SY = AGE 7/8 MY = AGE 9/10 LY = AGE 11/12 XLY = AGE 13/14. My lad is 9 and has MY size shirt. Plenty of point in gloating at Coyle - he displayed all the loyalty of a bitch in heat having spent the past 18 months preaching on high about it. Fact is that travelling anywhere in the UK is hard work. Away days can be costly. With little technical knowledge or limited cost outlay you can watch every Burnley game on your tv. To pretend that this isn’t going to affect attendances is madness.
