It might be true for the bottled version (which has a slightly higher ABV), but the cask version is definitely brewed at the brewery on Accrington Road. Its damn, damn good. Pilsner Urquell is my favourite of the mass produced ones. Found some excellent brew pubs when I've been Prague as well doing a decent range of beers. The food goes well with it as well, proper drinking tackle
