Central Baths for school swimming lessons for me. 30+ of us walking from Stoneyholme juniors, snaking through town and back with one teacher at the front and another bringing up the rear slapping stragglers about the head. Happy days, not! That's why I hated Central Baths...taken there by sadists.....

Just found an old pic online of North Street baths, then come across this old pic of how they used to teach kids to swin in a lake if no baths were nearby, the kids of today don't know how lucky they are lol 😀😄😀😄 Screenshot_20210908-133631_Gallery.jpg Loved North street baths.....hated central baths.

Its not as easy switching allegiances as people think. I switched to Man Utd in the 90s and it just didnt work out so i changed back to Burnley. It used to be easy supporting both Leeds and Burnley but now they are in the same division its really difficult and if this season they are both fighting ...

Firstly I can't see why vouchers have an expiry date unless there is some commercial or accountancy aspect to this. The new law mentioned above sounds like common sense.
