Re: VAR and Offside

I think what could help is isolating offside to any part of the leg. It is all about gaining an advantage as you run with your legs, this makes sense. Watched the fa cup highlights and there was a goal scored where the player looked level and a goal was given, no complaints. Would probably have been...

Re: Just how good have the last 7 or 8 years been

The style of football links with buying better players. The spell when we played 4-5-1 with Defour pulling the strings and Brady on top form, we were a pleasure to watch. We have also played effective football over the last two seasons at times. Especially with the emergence of McNeil who I love wat...

Here we go again - that was 2 seasons ago - we once won the league you know But the point is a valid one. Minus Defour, the bulk of that squad who finished 7th still plays for us now. Hence we have it in our armoury to finish at least mid table. They don’t become bad players overnight. We do need s...

There could be an argument that bringing Taylor on off the bench for the last 30 if we need a goal would be a good ploy.

I'd say that both full backs are the closest to being replaced at the moment. Especially Lowton

One thing that I went mad about was Mark Wood coming out in all of his gear for the final ball - pads, gloves, helmet. He wasn't on strike and had no chance of being on strike (with two required to win, Eng would have won if they had run on a no ball or wide). He should have come out with the longe...

JBG, Defour are only on this list due to their injury records.

Brady to a lesser extent, but it might be worth letting him fully recover this summer as his was a bad injury.

I think one of the things we should have learned from this season, is that we can't afford to carry injury prone players.
