Re: Burnley v Brighton - Player Ratings

What do you want people to give him? You gave him 5 which is below average. I believe a goalkeeper who for a second successive week has potentially cost us points with a catastrophic error cannot be rated at below average. Ah I gotcha Tony, everytime a goalie makes a clanger, it's an automatic 3, d...

Re: So do you drop Muric after two massive costly howlers?

With Muric in the team, I've actually enjoyed watching us play again (perhaps enjoy isn't the right word). As with Trafford when he made mistakes, Muric is young, and will learn (hopefully) from mistakes like yesterday. His commanding of the box, distribution, 1-1 saves have been top notch since ret...

Foster is an enigma. And unfortunately I'm getting to the point where I think we need to cut our losses with him. He was poor last season, but we treated this as a bedding in process. First of all, lots of people who seem to can't wait to give Muric a 3. Bit sad IMO. Of course it was a massive error, but it's like giving a striker who's had a good game missing an open goal a 3 just out of pure spite. Overall I thought we played ok, there were positives, Esteve and Ekdal very good...

The biggest concern for next season is impatience and apathy. If we hit the ground running we could see a record points haul. Still think we deserved around 10 more points in our championship season. I thought we were very unconvincing - 80 mins at home to 10 men in rotten form and the fact our keeper was MoM says it all. Still have very low hope of staying up, even if it has risen slightly. Trafford played at least 3 long, accurate balls to the right wing yesterday.
Not disputing that, but he's not got the long ping in his locker. ie Muric v West Brom last season away as one of many examples.

Not Trafford's fault, but it is an effective plan B when teams press with intensity
