Re: Carabao Cup draw Rd 3
Same old Burnley, getting an away draw against a team from Greater Manchester with 'City' in their name whose success has been entirely funded by their owners.

The stick he's getting on the Turf is ******* me right off. He's a player who looks totally devoid of confidence and he's getting constant pelters.
For ***** sake get behind players and show them support when they're struggling.

Re: Garlick Bashers
Admittedly haven't read the whole thread but this idea that Garlick was driven out needs to end. There were absolutely no dissenting voices at the Turf prior to the sale (when we had fans on). Nobody was shouting Garlick out, no banners, no protests, nothing. He sold because he wanted out.

Re: BBC Sports Personality of the Year
Only 2 goals I think in the finals (Czech + Germany) Kane scored 4 (Germany, Ukraine (2), Denmark + Italy pen. shoot-out conversion) Neither have set the world alight since and I would have preferred to have seen one of the midfield heroes (Rice or Philips) but I suppose BBC have to show balance in...

Managed to sneak over to 100 in the last second. 10 of the 22 I didn't get were Hodgson's clubs. Definitely helped that already knew a bit about Bielsa's career but still had no idea on the Mexican clubs.

Re: Simulation by Burnley players?!
The one on Taylor tonight was a clear penalty. Walker also clearly makes contact with the back of McNeil's leg for the other shout. On the Wood one the other day, how many penalties have we conceded where people have said afterwards that you can't touch a player's back in the box? Pens against Arsen...

Re: Lowton
I think the biggest credit to Lowton is he makes Bardsley look like a Championship defender at best in comparison.
We really miss him any time he doesn’t play and the fact that he seems to wind other players up is just a bonus.
Lowton laughing in David Luiz’s face will always be a great image.

Steve Walsh was my first thought when seeing this. I think the aim of Everton’s transfer activity seemed to go against how he’d achieved success before. Everton were clearly looking to spend big and make a statement with the players they were bringing in. Whereas Walsh’s success at Leicester was in ...

I don’t care at all about people laughing at us. What I do care about is having a decent cup whilst we have our strongest team since the 70s. Not saying we have to go and win the thing but at least give yourself the best chance of going as far as possible. To have been knocked out of the cups by con...
