Re: TV Fixtures for November

Being in the same division. Last time I looked we had fixtures against them twice a season I think it's safe to say we're rich because of clubs like them, not competing against them for the money. As for competing in the fixtures? It's usually been a stroll in the park for them two clubs against us...

There does seem a very disproportionate number from Preston/Blackpool in that squad. Only two from East East Lancs, Anderson & Davies. In the late 90s Lancashire coaches were always trying to get the best youngsters from the Ribb league into the Northern league. Lancs used to have an U20s side ...

Looking at the team playing today, I make it Davies, Bohannon, Livingstone, Jones, Croft, Bailey, Mahmood, and Parkinson who were all born in the traditional county boundaries of Lancashire. Add in a few others from the squad, Anderson, Hameed, Guest, Lamb, Lester, Hurt, Glee...

A lot will depend on who clubs recruit. Smit in at Rammy but they are losing Tom Parton who won’t be easy to replace. They have signed Harry Caton from East Lancs. Always looked very good at Feniscowles but I don't know if I gave him extra credit for thinking he was about 10 when he was a lot older.
