Delighted for him. Always wanted him to gave a chance to play.
Does he start next week?...I think he should. Running the channels isn't his game, so as long we play to his strengths that may help him.
In any event, it puts him in the shop window.

Chelsea's Reece James would have been a good shout. Unfortunately, since Frank Lampard returned as Manager in the close season, RJ has found himself getting game time. That ship has sailed now.

Yes. We've got two quality strikers on the bench, and it's not fair on them to continue playing out of form players ahead of them just in case they manage to play their way back into form. No. Wood has been very poor thus far and so someone else deserves a bash. I hope to see one of Vydra or Rodriq...
