Re: Floods in Hong Kong
Thanks for the thought Pickles, After the super typhoon last week (which turned out to be not so super) the Black rain signal went up on Thursday evening as over 6inches of rain fell in an hour! We then proceeded to have 1/4 of our annual rainfall in a day. With the drains likely still full of leave...

Lived in Hong Kong a couple of years ago, loved it. Didn't meet any other Clarets but got to a couple of Kitchee and Eastern games. (Also from Pendle!) There are a few of us here. Great place, despite what it looks like in the media nowadays. I got indoctrinated by a fan of HK Pegasus, and so kitch...

I was too young for the Imp, but used to marvel at the posters in the fellas shop, downstairs in Nelson Arndale, in the early 2000s. To think of the likes of the Beatles, Jimmy Hendrix etc. playing in Nelson, blew my mind.

Burnley born, grew up in and around Pendle. Now live in Hong Kong, spreading the Claret cheer.
Proud to say I've recruited many a new Claret while on the road. I have to say though, as with our transfers, recruitment is easier when we've been doing well.

Cooling equipment is different yes but a fan will cool a person down. It doesn't make the room cooler but neither does wearing a jumper in winter time make a room warmer.
