Re: Today's Football 4-7-20

Tough for Bayern now though, they're gonna have to go 6 weeks without a competitive game and then have to suddenly switch on again. Swings and roundabouts, on the plus side they get a chance to rest and regroup, and maybe get some injured players back, on the downside your right no competitive acti...

Lewandowski is a remarkable player. Sometimes it a slight (used loosely) shame we’ve had Ronaldo/Messi. Lewandowski and Suarez often get over looked for how great they are. He ended up getting 2 today in a 4-2 Bayern win, 51 in 44 for the season now, and he's still got a few games in the CL to go, ...

We do seem to do ok after Christmas. Before Christmas, we're knackered, but 2020 we've not done so bloody bad. Yes it used to be the reverse, we'd be strong until Christmas, and then injuries and suspensions would kick in, or we'd be forced to sell in January, and we'd plummet down the table, and t...

That should be that for Rovers play off ambitions ..... You'd hope so, they're 11th as it stands, and the sides above them aren't all likely to capitulate, they effectively need to better Cardiff by 3 wins, tough ask with only 5 matches remaining, even if their next trip is to Cardiff, by this time...

Possibly, but he's the wrong side of 30, and he's only been a bit-part player in a struggling Bournemouth side, he's into the final 12 months of his contract, so if we could get him for a nominal fee, i might be interested, but i'm not sure SD would be.

They're not alone. Fulham had umpteen chances to get into the top 2. As soon as they could smell it, they'd lose. If Leeds dropped points, they would drop points. A valid point from the poster further up though.
