Re: Match Day Thread: Fulham vs Burnley

Impressive 45 that, now let's kill the game early in the 2nd half, great assist from Cork for the goal, and a lethal finish by Jay, they haven't yet managed an effort on target, the only worry is they surely can't be as bad 2nd half, and we only have a slender lead.

Argh.

Vydra misses from close range.

Where's the accuracy when its NEEDED!?
And that's why he's not considered first choice, he lacks composure when the chances come his way, positive start though and we look up for this game.

Brentford at it again leading Leicester 1-0.

Today's footie 24/1/21

Busy day of action starts with Chelsea-Luton which has just kicked off, could be a tricky tie for Frank's boys this one, Luton are no mugs in the Champ, and Chelsea's form is erratic to say the least.

As well as the cup ties 2 games in the Championship.

PNE-Reading

Boro-Rovers

Come on Boro :)

Re: Sri Lanka Vs England 2nd Test

Root gone in the last over of the day, run out again, that last half hour has just tilted the day in Sri Lanka's favour, prior to that I'd have given it to England, but the lead is still 42 and this pitch isn't going to get any easier to bat on. The one concern from an England POV, is that Root is s...

Stupid shot from Wood in the circumstances, just stay in until the close and back up the skipper, who's on course for another double ton.

Leach will play sensibly I suspect, which is exactly what England & Joe Root need.

I think they've missed Jota more than anyone. Defensively they've been fine, but Jota was scoring goals for fun, and they just haven't been able to replace his goals. Root 174 just been missed on 172. Batted superbly. Currently trailing by 61. Bit harsh classing that as a miss it barely carried to first slip.
