Re: Wolves Imports versus MIGHTY CLARETS

We took some of the pressure off them up front by replacing Barnes and that resulted in more pressure on us at the back, although they did surge forward towars the end. Pieters was a bit unlucky, Jiminez had to be at full stretch to pick up the penalty grabbing clip :( Disappointing because we fully...

Re: Wolves Imports versus MIGHTY CLARETS

Tarks and Mee are keeping everything solid at the back. Cork and Westy are keeping their midfield very quiet. Lots of play down the right from JBG, with Lowton contributing to both attack and defence. The one two that set up Barnes for a shot was worthy of a goal. Mc Neill has been running his arse ...

A good addition under the circumstances. Heading into the season with three central midfielders would have been hazardous and Drinkwater is a quality option as a short term sticking plaster. We brought in about 6m for vokes and 8m for Heaton

We have spent £10m on Jay, £1.5m on Pieters and possibly £2.5m on Peacock Fowl

That would equate to £14m in and £14m out.

So hopefully, more than nothing.
