This is exactly why VAR is going to add a whole load of more confusion. Would our goal have been referred to VAR in the first place? If it was then if you have Dermot at Stockley Park it gets disallowed? No doubt other VAR officials may see it differently...Also, you have to feel sorry for the lino ...

Two facts for the season. One -Taylor was nowhere near good enough in the first half of the season and was rated accordingly. West Ham just don’t turn up sometimes.

I think the sub one is a very good idea, some teams make their substitutions drag out. It’s a good idea if they enforce the sub to be removed at the nearest exit point off the pitch. Unreal when you look at value for money of those listed.

Of the two with better goals to minutes ratios one cost circa 40 million and the other is on 100k plus per week.

In terms of switching off for the goal, you can always consider that the throw taken from the correct place would possibly not have resulted in a goal along with the fact that Kane is one of the best strikers in the world....
