Re: Swansea in trouble: article

Is that our transfer policy of selling a player for 9 million and not buying anyone? Or the policy of having 4 full transfer windows to sort things out and still be left needing? Oh wait I'm one of those people who think we should spend 500 billion because there's no middle ground at BFC it's eithe...

Whatever their run of games it would not be a surprise for this lot to get relegated.

You can suggest they have easy fixtures at home but there are no easy games when in a relegation battle. Certainly not the Southampton, Cardiff and Newcastle mentioned above.

The thing about the odds to bear in mind is that there is essentially 1 place up for grabs. Given how close everything is the 9/1s upwards are the best bets. Cardiff are now a very bad price given their recent form

It’s all very well talking VAR again and we got away with the Hendrick one... However, Peter Walton doing his VAR audition had the one in the first half (handball by McNeil) as absolutely nailed on. The BT commentator was just as bad. At 3-1 with about 10 mins to go, they pulled up a chart showing that Burnley were near the top of the charts for late goals conceded, to which he commented tgat “Burnley might just be there for the taking”! It’s very easy to defer the bad decisions and focus on missed chances.

However, I’ll bet no other prem team have potentially lost 6 points from the last 3 games purely due to officials being clueless

So with the pen not given included we are looking at expected goal ratio nearing 3. That is very high for a prem game and indicates we created a good few good chances. We should have won approx 3 - 1

It’s one thing suggesting 7 wins. However, when you factor in the referee this looks like an impossible task. We most likely would have won the last 3 games and drew them all. We are in trouble because of nothing other than poor refereeing given we should have 30 points and should be almost safe. It...
