Bristol de Mai is the absolute class horse of the race but I’m not sure he’ll get the trip unfortunately, and he has too much weight to carry. Kimberlite Candy or Acapella Bourgeois for me.

True but it’s always been like this certainly in the last 50 years. Some teams are much better than they used to be from memory..such as Luxembourg who we used to thrash by 7 or so many years ago. I don’t really think it is any more lobsided than it always was tbh. I’m bored so I worked out Canada i...

There’s always someone needing to move somewhere to win trophies or enhance international chances etc. The best place for Nick is a place where he is playing at the top level and keeping clean sheets. Based on that he’s in the right place. If it’s to win trophies why go to Spurs given that Kane shou...

So 80 is correct. Very poor question quality
Note for future reference always get the question accurate

There’s something wrong with the question because there doesn’t appear to be an ex Burnley player that has played exactly 60 games for us.

Which is why I feel that Pope should be England’s number one. That doesn’t mean that he is totally exempt from criticism. I agree he is not exempt from criticism but the Maguire header and the stupid throw in the 93rd minute are not the ones. Earlier in the game he made a couple of poor kicks but t...

As aren’t the people who constantly dig out Pickford for any mistake that he makes but won’t attribute any blame to those that Pope makes. There’s a world of difference between making a poorish kick or two when the opponents don’t score compared to poor feet positioning and poor decisions leading t...

Not to mention needlessly clattering Maguire earlier. I think you probably had blinkers over your eyes if you think the Maguire thing is the keepers fault. It’s the keepers ball all day and god knows what Maguire is actually doing there. There’s no doubt Pope can improve his kicking but his job is ...

Absolutely. Though Pickford hasn't done badly himself, really. N P did give a decent chance at the end with a very poor kick. The decent chance you mention was caused by Walker, I think taking a quick throw in 3 minutes into added time of a game we are winning 2 nil. Absolute nonsense taking a thro...

This proves the genuine dilemma that Southgate faces. Because Pope has now played in two consecutive games where he hasn’t had a single save to make. Which goes to show that as an England goalkeeper, in a lot of games, a substantial part of your contribution will be with your feet. That’s just a fa...

Phil Collins is 70 and he looks like he’s about 105.
Paul McCartney is 78 and sings like he’s about 108.
Some of them just need to know when to give up but in fairness some like the Stones were still pretty good fairly recently
