I attended my first game on t'Turf. An 8-0 thrashing of Forest with Jimmy Robson scoring 5(five). Later I will have the the pleasure of reading he match report, thanks Tony Remember it as though it was yesterday................. dark, muddy pitch, 5-0 half time. Re: Have you ever left a Clarets game early?

Just watching the demolition of Southampton. It got me wondering if I had ever left a Clarets game early because of the score. Only one I could remember was away at Sheffield Wednesday in May 1967. We lost 7-0. Anybody else left early ? Was at that game..........stayed to the bitter end, on the way...

Reading the above and taking it further - The England North/South divide, Lancashire/Yorkshire, Burnley/Blackburn - you could go on and on - so where does racism begin and end.........is the Englishman/Irishman/Scotsman joke still alive or is THAT racism? How far do we take all this? It will soon be...

Drove from Dallas to Austin. in Austin turned right , which was the wrong side of the road, and straight down a one way street, unfortunately the wrong direction with large American cars coming towards me. Stopped, had no idea what to do next. As I was contemplating there was a knock on my window wh...

Well done I say. Any pub opening up nowadays is a big financial risk, especially where there is some competition. Big or small, real ale or cocktails, who cares, a couple of drinks before the match and all is well!
