Boothroyd played him on the left wing in one game I watched, and I mean exclusively as a winger; you don't see that very often because it's a luxury in the modern game that very few teams can afford.
Nothing to do with ability or assists in the PL, just a tactical thing.

I think it would stop the bad language against the referee which at all other levels of football is a a yellow or red card offence. The problem with micing refs is the bad language that mics will pick up. Not good for TV, and TV runs football.

That's a good point in terms of extending the loan & sending the wrong message out to the other players & the supporters, he's allowed himself to be involved in a fracas in a nightclub whilst not fit to play but well enough to boogie on the dancefloor & ended up upsetting another bloke ...

Our passing across the back, reminiscent of our play under the anti-christ, AKA Eddie Howe, is causing us plenty of trouble. Slow, predictable and easy to pick us off.
