I think we can all accept that cheating is rife in professional sport.
The bans are too short to be a genuine deterrent. i'd love to see them substantially increased to the point where being caught cheating could actually wreck a player's career.

Shutting the window before the season starts is obviously better, but only if that same closing date were to be used throughout Europe. As it is EPL clubs are at a serious disadvantage.
