I like Wilson. I'll never understand why Kompany wasted weeks playing as a number 10, when without Kolo he's our main threat out wide.
At a guess, because we could cover the left wing with JBL and WO has the ability to find shooting opportunities around the box.
Whether it's worked or not??

I would say our defence isn’t world class, but we still have some elite players in that back line. Stones, Walker (world class in my opinion). Then Maguire, Chillwell, Shaw, Guehi, Lewis, Tomori are all top players. Depending on how we set up we could blow opposition teams away this summer. Maybe s...

And the Luton game is but one example. Presumably at a time when we he was awaiting a hernia op. Twice this season we've been away at top sides, had a man sent off early, and then shown won the rest of the game. Twice Foster has been lone striker in those games. That doesn't happen if he's not tryi...

He's recovering from a hernia. Before he had a hernia I heard various criticisms of Foster, but amongst them was not a lack of fitness or effort. On the contrary he stood out in the Luton game for his workrate. I'm not sure its wise to default to an assumption that any player lacks basic profession...

The reason he uses that technique is for the tactical advantage. If it was seen as a technical flaw he'd have had it coached out of him years ago
The point is that he failed because his technique (performance) wasn't good enough for the technique (tactical).
If you get my drift

Why do people dislike him so much? I wouldn’t say he’s particularly ‘not nice’.
No, I don't get that,
Unless it's all down to him being considered better than Nick Pope?

He only had fitness issues because he barely featured for Swansea after being denied a move to us in the summer.
So did we sign him with fitness issues or not?
Did we sign him for a reported £12million or not?

This has led me to rewatching a few times (aware I'm overanalysing this now). The moment Berge receives the ball their strikers are miles away, he then dallies for an absolute age and one striker comes towards him and one goes closer to Muric anticipating the pass back to him. They are on the edge ...

Crikey. I didn't realise it was that much. I had £9m in my head but it was a while ago so could be wrong. I dread to think how much money we'd have lost on him had we paid around those figures. We were never going to pay that. We loaned him, I believe, knowing he had fitness issues. Sounds like he'...

But we didn't, so your dread is wasted.

I don't think I am. The quotes from both Mcguiness and Cathro both imply the use of studs as the first touch to give then a slight advantage in being able to play both ways. As soon as you take a touch with the sidefoot it attracts the press from one side, it's a trigger for the press and you then ...

"You may regard it as bad technique but that's because youve been you've been raised with British values. This is clearly something that is more common abroad and is being brought into our game pretty rapidly. It's unfair to criticise Muric for his technique in this case IMO, only the execution." So...

It was a shock to receive the message this afternoon Woking - I thought he was steadily showing some improvement. It's not good is it? I'm told his daughter has been asked to go down to Swansea.
Let's just hope things improve for him.
Totally agree with you, CT.
Very sad news.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I just don't rate O'Shea.
Yes, 100% effort, but positioning and decision making aren't good enough. We'd sell him at a loss.

Said this before, but Everton, despite their position, have the 4th best defensive record. Not a coincidence that their manager SD makes them not mess about at the back, but just hit it long to the likes of Calvert Lewin. I too saw the reaction of Cullen and Brownhill when Brightons goal crept unde...

For what reason?
I think it would be good to take Trafford out of the firing line. I also think it would help his development.
Muric would start as No1.
Cooper is excellent, and would provide a serious challenge to Muric.

Just no.
Especially not for the Champ seen as we had the best one in the division last time that is... still on our books.
If I was in charge
I'd try to get Trafford a season loan in Europe.
I'd also be keen on Cooper from Plymouth

There's certain things that he has the ability to control, his fitness being the main one and at the moment he isn't anywhere near fit enough to play Premier League football which to me says a lot.
Do you not remember the stick Ashley Barnes got when playing despite being not fully fit?

I’m personally of the opinion neither are great at the moment, (defo not top level). But I suspect Trafford will go on to have a better career. He’s already ahead of Muric. I’m pretty certain neither will end up playing regular champions league football unless at some crap team like Celtic. For onc...

There's literally 0 point in doing so at this point. If anything, we need to throw even more caution to the wind on the off chance that we win 3+ of our remaining games. We will only win taking big chances and trying to take the game to the opposition. Possibly, but accepting that level of careless...

Based on Trafford had 28 games to show if he was up to the premier league so based on that muric should be given the same amount of games. Muric should have started the season and had the errors piled up and his passing stats dropped and the overall play dropped then Trafford comes in, you won’t ev...

Agree peacock-Farrell has never had a chance he should still be number 2 behind muric
No need to be (vaguely) offensive... not that I care if you are.
But the point is that the number of games played doesn't necessarily define a player's ability.

So definitely foot positions only for offsides?
Couldn't VAR do that without chips?
I prefer Saute potatoes meself, but would they fit in he boots?
