Re: Combi boiler fitter required - any recommendations?

If you are replacing a traditional boiler with a combi then please be aware that combi boilers are much more fussy about the water pressure in the central heating system. I have just had a combi boiler fitted (which is great by the way) but it has highlighted some leaks under our downstairs concrete...

Re: ARTICLE: Defour joins Antwerp

I must be missing something here. If he is fit enough to sign for Antwerp, how come he couldn’t even get on our bench? Even twenty minutes from him as an impact sub would have helped last Saturday. I wish him well but will be a bit miffed if he now goes on and plays a lot of games for them.

I thought he showed some good passing ability especially in the first half. He played more of a defensive midfield role than I expected and seemed to find time to make sensible passes. With better players behind him (we really missed Tarks and Mee tonight) I am hopeful he can be an improvement on ei...

Feeling stupid now. I was in the bottom tier. Sat in block almost on my own, my choice, great view and could sit down most of time. Thing is, I didn’t know we had our fans above us in the upper tier as well!! No wonder I thought it was a poor turnout.

Re: VAR - Brilliant or Disaster?

As I understand it, we spectators will only see the video evidence AFTER the VAR decision has been made by the video officials and the ref. Just as well, because otherwise both sets of fans would be howling their opinion as to what the video evidence shows. The trouble I see is the delay to our bein...

VAR at the Women’s World Cup

Just watched end of game between Sweden and Canada. Full time whistle is blown by ref. Then amazingly there is a possibility of a VAR review for handball. Sweden are busy celebrating, fans are heading for the exits. Thankfully VAR review comes to nothing. This is getting beyond a joke. Although VAR ...

Only looks like about 5000 fans there. They look lost in Wembley. I know it’s an experience for the players and fans but would have been a better atmosphere played at somewhere like Turf Moor or Deepdale.

I know Bournemouth were poor today (although credit to our lads for making them look so bad) but we should be looking up not down based on that performance. Cardiff will have played both their games in hand (home to Chelsea and away to Man City) before we play Bournemouth. It could all look a lot more healthy by then (or we could be in the bottom three but I very much doubt it).
