Re: Club statement: Zero tolerance

I travelled to the Spurs game by train the other week. All the way down I was sat next to a group of 20-25 year olds who spent the whole journey discussing their accumulators and online betting accounts. At the game I was sat in front of another group who spent a vast majority of the game on their p...

Re: VA Farce!

I like the idea of a time limit for VAR say 30 seconds. If no decision received by then, go with ref’s original decision. Something has to change because it is killing the goal celebrations and that is what should be the highlight of the supporter’s experience. I can understand that they might not c...

Re: Team for Peterborough

I would stick with our strongest 11. Why play players who have no game time together between them? There is a week off before the Chelsea game. A win would bring back some confidence hopefully. We surely can’t be as bad as today against a league one side can we?

I am absolutely amazed that Drinkwater didn’t come on today. Westwood and Cork were useless. Why have Drinkwater on the bench? Must have something to do with a prior agreement with Chelsea about squad appearances or the like. Really utterly baffling.

Re: Burnley v Newcastle - Player Ratings

Sorry CT but I think Hendrick flatters to deceive. He runs around a lot and looks busy but he makes hardly any tackles and is often just jogging back into a space and marking nothing. How Vydra and Drinkwater are at least not replacing him after an hour or even starting in place of him, defies me..

I thought Westwood played well today. He sits in front of the back four and always shows for the ball which gives the defence another option besides just lumping it forward. He seems to always have plenty of time which is the sign of a talented player. Without him there is always a gaping hole betwe...

Re: What was Tottenham's stadium like ?

I thought it was superb. The seats nearer the front were maybe a bit too low down but, as someone said above, the four big screens showed the whole game ‘live’ so you could easily glance at them when play was at the other end. I personally felt it was better for football than Wembley and certainly b...

These scams are getting more difficult to spot I doubt. In lots of ways that seemed genuine. Fortunately my friend managed to sp...

Can someone explain to me how Ireland can go above Denmark with a win? Their goal difference is far inferior to that of the Danes so is the position in the table based on something else? (At start of play Ireland are three points behind Denmark)

I must be missing something here. If he is fit enough to sign for Antwerp, how come he couldn’t even get on our bench? Even twenty minutes from him as an impact sub would have helped last Saturday. I wish him well but will be a bit miffed if he now goes on and plays a lot of games for them.
