Re: Bardsley Ban?

Bardsley was lucky to stay on the pitch. But I don't mind a bit of aggression. Better than than being bullied like we were on other parts of the pitch. Bardsley has his limitations but his number one priority is defence and he did OK. If everyone had played with a bit more aggression and intensity i...

Even Dyche would be happy with that tracking back. Bally would be happy with that tackle and Trippier would be happy with that delivery.

Rooney - awesome

I hope this link works. Last minute of extra time, everyone including the keeper are up for corner. Ball breaks free, looks like disaster fro DC United with goal wide open. Cue a bit of Rooney magic. He looks knackered at the end though! Apologies if this has been posted before. https://dms.licdn.co...

I am quite happy with that team. Strong core and a few seasoned players with a point to prove. Quite rightly there is more than an eye on Sunday's PL game.

I rather hope Walters bangs in a goal.

Re: ARTICLE: Clarets take Hart

Welcome to BFC Joe. There is no doubt that if he finds his form he is an excellent keeper. However this does imply that either Heaton's injury is worse than reported or that it has become apparent that we cannot keep Heaton and Pope happy longer term. However Heaton/Pope backed up (or being pushed) ...

Nearly cried at a rugby game once - the Challenge Cup Final, when Danny Jones' widow was singing Abide With Me and a picture of Danny and the twin babies came up on the screen. Never cried about the football, though. Back in the eighties watching Burnley, it was laugh or cry - and I chose to laugh....

Coyle will never be a Burnley legend because of the way he left. Had he stayed and even if we had gone down, which I think we would have done, and even if the promotion success was not repeated he would have retained legendary status with the club and fans. He would be welcomed back to the club anyt...

No scores just a few comments. Bardsley was not as bad as some suggest but it is probably time to give Lowton a run. Long was solid for most of the the evening was left for dead on their goal. But these thing happen, it was well worked and hopefully there will be a lesson learnt. I am not convinced ...

I love the campsite at Wasdale Head. Lovely quiet valley with the Wasdale Head Inn. Much quieter and spectacular than Langdale but have to admit the climb up Scafell Pike is not as nice as some others. If it is Scafell then the Fisherground campsite in Eskdale is a good shout.

One of Burnley's great strengths is that we develop players. Players grow with Burnley. We signed Wade Elliot from Bournmouth (Div 1/Div 2) when were were in the Championship and he became a Premier league player.

Give the lad a chance.
