Re: Brother's playing together

Would Newcastle have had another pair of brothers playing together years ago, with Gary Caldwell lining up alongside our very own Steven Caldwell?

I know they both played for Toon, but not sure whether they ever played together.

Re: Jay Rod

Was a brilliant header. I didn't think he was overly involved when he came on, but what he did he did well.

He also put a shift in going the other way too by tracking Targett, who seemed to have the freedom of the left flank at times during the first half.

I'd start him there against Everton.

Yes he has so far but thats not why we signed him. We signed him because we needed a second left sided defender. I wouldn't bother, the restraining order Charlie Taylor has taken out against Hibsclaret means he's unable to attend matches, as he's not allowed within a 3 mile radius. Fu3king nutcase.

If Wood scores from the best cross of the first half, we win the game. So the team that scores first wins the game? Well by heck, someone better tell Villa that and award them two extra points. Time to get behind the guy playing well in the shirt. Brilliant. Like you did with Charlie Taylor last se...

So creates one goal puts another on a plate for Wood to miss and Taylor is far superior. Appalling defensively yesterday, Charlie Taylor is a far superior defender. It wasn’t just the winger who was beating him all ends up, it was the full back too. He’s just got absolutely no pace and so he either gets way too tight and then span away from, or he backs off far too much and gives all th...

Thought we looked much more effective with the 433 after the break. Suddenly we were able to get a grip on Villa in midfield, who at times were playing with 4 in there during the first half. We still played long, but we were able to do so into the channels instead of always in front of their massive...

Yes. We've got two quality strikers on the bench, and it's not fair on them to continue playing out of form players ahead of them just in case they manage to play their way back into form. No. Wood has been very poor thus far and so someone else deserves a bash. I hope to see one of Vydra or Rodriqu...
