Re: IPTV the end?

No Leeds aren't a big club. Their trophy haul will help prove this, as will the fact they've been outside of the PL since 2004 now so pretty much a generation. Their ground is also in need of some major work because it wasn't that long ago some of it was closed off due to safety concerns I think I ...

Here's an odd one - there have been 16 different champions in Argentina in the last 29 years. If that happens, Burnley's stay in the Premier League will end. With franchises, as in the US, all the clubs are free to negotiate their own TV deals for the most money possible. If that happens in England, all TV channels will fall over themselves to pay the top clubs the money they want. The rest...

Judging from the posts on here and the impact he made when he came on at Brighton it seems as though, just possibly, Vydra's time may have come. The ‘Homo’ from Homosexual is not taken from the Latin for ‘Man’, it’s taken from the Greek ‘Homo’ meaning ‘the same’. Homogenised has the same derivation. This is contrasted from the Greek ‘Hetero’ which means ‘different’; this is where we get the term ‘Heterosexual’. The term Homophobic is a port...

Homo = prefix referring to man (as in homonids).
Phobic = having a morbid fear of.
So a word that actually means 'a fear of man' is now used to describe 'a hatred of gay men'. I find it weird how words have become 'fashionable' without any thought given as to what they actually mean.
