Re: Your favourite non Burnley player.
Lionel Messi. Him and Thierry Henry are the two players who, beyond the confines of the hallowed Turf, do it for me. Saw Messi and Neymar play together for Barcelona at Camp Nou and Messi scored a free kick from a ridiculous angle. Unbelievable Jeff!

Get Vokes off. Criminal how many chances he’s had and missed. He looks half a beat out of time.

I know what you’re saying. Nothing wrong with controlled aggression.theroyaldyche wrote:Agressive as possible. Want them to feel the burn and we go thru.
I just meant no violence or aggression as in throwing seats on the pitch and/or starting a few fires in Tesco car park!

2-0 at home next week. Turf Moor has to be as hostile and unwelcoming for Olympiakos as possible. Not in an aggressive or violent way, just unnerving and in your face. Make the away side find it a difficult atmosphere to play in.

Had a fantastic game tonight. In my opinion he was our MoM. Without his saves, we’d have conceded a few.

Re: Atmosphere tonight.
The repertoire is thin and uninventive. Picked up for the last 5-10 minutes of normal time when we were pushing for the goal. Atmosphere peaked when we scored. The Aberdeen fans should have inspired us, as it would be immense to see the Turf rocking en masse to just a couple of songs now and again. ...

It’s disappointing...
To see the levels of immaturity at times on this forum. A forum is a gathering, a multitude of opinions (and we may agree and disagree!) that we all agree to take part in. We’re all here under the premise of (Burnley fans) or voyeurs in the case of Saxo and other non-Burnley fans. That’s why I come ...

Re: Your favourite computer games
Used to love Wipeout the original for PS1. Crash Bandicoot deserves a mention for capturing many childhood hours. Final Fantasy 7 is my favourite of all time and the newer 15 was great fun. FIFA is the game of choice. Would be good to get a few people together as a pro club from on the forum if peop...

Gerry. That’s incredible! Only three days apart. I hope your lad had a good time in Tokyo. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and he has taken an epic picture of Fuji as well! There is Hiroshima Claret out there so that’s three of us? UTC

Break the bank for him (transfer fee, not wage). He would score goals. Probably sell him on for a lot more if he did well too.

Today would be a great day for N'Koudou to get off the mark. An assist or a goal from him would be lovely.

Re: Fao Hiroshima Claret
I am staying with a friend at their airbnb in Hiroshima until the 14th and then I’m having a bit of a travel up to Tokyo (15th), then Kyoto (16th) for a couple of evenings, may even squeeze Nara or Osaka in on the 17th if I can. After the 20th I’m headed down to Hakata for 5 days before flying back ...

Hey Hiroshima. I’m currently in Ushita. I’m a vegetarian too, even more reason to link up! Would be great to catch Miyajima with you perhaps? 18th, 19th and 20th are good days for me. Let me know if these work for you. Thanks

Daft one perhaps but is Hiroshima Claret really based in Hiroshima? I’m currently there at the moment and would be ace to see a fellow Claret on my travels.

Re: too defensive today
No one likes losing. But there is a slight delusion of grandeur when you honestly think we should be beating Man City at their home ground? Don't you think we've rode our luck already away from home? The law of averages has to kick in at some point and we will lose a game away from home. That's not ...

Re: too defensive today
There's a reason why we are posting on forums and why Sean Dyche and his players were playing at the Etihad earlier today. None of us are good enough to play football to those sorts of standards (Premier League). We should be happy to lose to Man City 3-0 away from home. This isn't fast food where y...

A Few Song Ideas...
Morning all. I'm Andy, been a Claret for almost two decades now. Big fan of Dyche, he's our Cloughie and we should cherish him and these times he's brought to our club. Anyway, I had a couple of ideas for songs. Tom Heaton (To Robbie WIlliams' "Angels") He saves the goals, He offers us protection, T...
