Re: Wood, Brady and Defour not in squad
Brady's been injured for ages and isn't fit enough to even make the squad, Lennon has been so inconsistent, even JBG isn't exactly dependable with injuries although hopefully it's all behind him. Not sure Lennon has been inconsistent, by any fault of his own. He has been very effective and worked v...

Re: Lewis Ferguson
You obviously don't take much notice of our Europa League games either then I take it from your comment that he is an Aberdeen player. I can honestly say, I can't name single one of their players. And that has nothing to do with being a little drunk. I tend to focus on what we are doing in most gam...

Re: New bid for Jay Rod
Yeah on reflection my choice of words were poor - there are circumstances when it would be appropriate to let a player leave for nothing if a fee isn't going to materialise and the player has no realistic future at the club. My main emphasis - in my head at least - was on Wells for obvious reasons....

Re: What colour for Aberdeen?
I have seen the new away shirt tonight it’s bloody awful. Black with thick silver trim down both sleeves and the sponsors logo is a multi coloured monstrosity. That sounds horrific.... I think I, 'm going to start designing kits, I used to do all the time as a kid and they were awesome. Who doesn' ...

Re: New home kit sizes?
Can anyone tell me if the new shirt sizes fit the same as last seasons? Thanks, would like to know before ordering online. Interesting you ask, as I went in to the club shop today and tried it on and though it was noticeably shorter in body. I'm a medium and 6'2 and was pleased with the cut last ye...

73 matches since his big injury in 2014 and was sporadic in his comeback to full fitness; hence S'ton selling him. My point is that he has come back strong and that can only carry on/improve if under Dyche and his miraculous pre-season (possible myth). I don't question Wood's goal contribution, whic...

A bunch of captains, from other World Cup sides had written to FIFA supporting his appeal. Seems he drank a spiked drink. Who knows? I bet they did.... Top sports stars are all on the juice, why would football (the sport with one of the highest financial gains from success; which drugs bring) be an...

Re: Jay Rod
Better than Wood? Hmmm, let me think.... YES. Wood is effective but Jay offers much more overall play, can play in a 10 role, can control a ball (Wood's first touch is only slightly better than Gray's), good in the air and a cultured finisher. If he doesn't score Wood is a bit absent in games. This ...

My thoughts however on Jay; most complete forward we've had in the modern era and we should pull out all stops.

Re: Nick Pope & Sean Dyche
No brainer for me, pope keeps the shirt. A little naive if you ask me.... Pope has been a very good understudy but Burnley has one Number 1 and that is the Captain, Tom Heaton. As soon as he is back and match fit, he will start and so he should. Pope may feel aggrieved, and rightly so, but Heaton i...

Southend They wore our “unlucky” black/green half’s and we beat them 5-1 If I'm not mistaken, it included 2 goals by Big John Gayle, a bicycle kick and a diving header/shoulder. Oh and the best right hand and knockout by a footballer ever! Gerry Harrison, take a shower son!..... He didn't even wait...

He’s been a solid performer in the Prem for years now; we shouldn’t expect anything less. Great back up signing!jedi_master wrote:He really impressed me against Leeds in the Cup - had no concerns over his ability to fill in.

Sorry under 18 quid! The Aldi Whiskey is apparently excellent. Drank neat and alone when the Mrs goes to bed. I have the Aldi Speyside Whiskey, G...

Please see the facebook link to a competition in aid of Oliver Welch (aged 3) who is battling Neuroblastoma, and needs life saving treatment in America. Saw them in a case, in the flesh last week in Size? Manchester. Majestic. Tried them on in another colour for sizing and ordered them 'as soon as' yesterday on the app.
Seems a few of us may have them on against 'The Irons'!

He is certainly a better player than Dier. He is a wasted player in there when playing smaller nations, and a spoiler at best when playing the likes of Germany.

Re: Hodgson appointed at palarse.
SD would surely not even consider them now after this season's shambles. Their board clearly can not stick with a decision with any conviction. Here he is settled, respected and gaining an excellent reputation, and will not (should not)leave now until a truly big club come in for him.
