Re: Huddersfield complain to EFL about Burnley

I hate to disappoint the Warnock/Huddersfield Town haters amongst you, but on Talksport today Neil Warnock said he did NOT complain to the EFL, and as far as he knew nobody at Huddersfield did.

A one-newspaper non-story.

Re: Name the next manager

PLEASE let's get a manager because he is a good manager (ie history of success) or because he has potential - NOT because he's a "name", or was a good player, or has contacts etc etc. I would be underwhelmed with Kompany - he has no idea of the Championship, would cost an absolute fortune, and would...

Re: That was like a bloody training session

I'm not sure if the opening post is being sarcastic or not - "City were in a game"??? Sorry, if they were I missed it. It was purely a case of could our 10 man defence hold out for an hour and a half.
Apologies to any football lovers watching on Sky.

Come on Burnley - this is painful

I got criticised after being bored by our 11 man defence against Chelsea but surely, at home, safe from relegation we could have had a go. Once again SD sets us up to play that negative uninspiring non-football. We were in front of the telly cameras and had a chance to answer our critics, but once ag...

Re: Luiz says we are anti football

My earlier post was certainly not defending Luiz - can't stand the fop - but the radio has had a lot of callers questioning how Sean Dyche can talk about honesty and play acting in football and then send out a team with obvious instructions to "play" the way he did. There does seem a whiff of hypocr...

Re: Luiz says we are anti football

Fair enough - we can disagree about the morality of it but it was certainly effective and SD in his interview after the match more or less said the same thing - the end justifies the means.

Re: Luiz says we are anti football

To be fair he has a point. I was obviously delighted with the point the Clarets needed but I was not proud of our performance. SD goes on about fairness and honesty but in the second half we milked every tackle,"injury", "cramp" to an embarrassing degree. I was just waiting for Barnes to be booked f...

Re: Relegation is imminent

Let's relax - Cardiff have some very difficult games this month. Having said that, I see what Warnock has done on meagre resources, and what Dyche has done and Dyche has to go at the end of the season. Our football is Hoof, Hoof , Hoof.

Mr Dyche -Wood's elbow or Tarkowski's stamp ?

Hi Sean - heard your interview about the Huddersfield player's dive - just wondered which you thought was worse - Woods elbow on their central defender or Tarkowski's alleged stamp on their striker ?

Dyche's interviews today

Just seen Sean Dyche's interviews on Sky and BBC - I'm amazed. He has said-twice-that at half-time "we should have been out of sight". Is this just to fool the Clarets fans who weren't there or does he believe this ? If Huddersfield could shoot they could nearly have had double figures and they play...

Clarets after Mooy

Reports suggesting that Burnley are amongst a group of clubs, including West Ham and Southampton, who are interested in Aaron Mooy at Huddersfield, presently playing for Australia. 20m is figure quoted.

We certainly worked hard and stopped Huddersfield playing - we were the stronger side but I can't remember their goalkeeper having to do much. Still far too much route one.

Re: Ralf Little destroys Jeremy Hunt

I stopped getting angry when seeing the labour luvvies when I sat through Martin Freeman's Labour Party Political broadcast a while ago. Ralf Little seems to be in the same boat - any tax dodges Ralf ? I'm not particularly party political but if any Labour supporter understood how they used the PFI ...

I saw Jeremy's speech - I agreed with nearly everything he said - if he gets in we're going to have more equality, more fairness, more housing, more healthcare, more teaching, more free education, more justice,no nasty business people, higher wages for all, more care for the elderly and I may be wro...

But we've NEVER focussed on ball work since Dyche came. Hard work yes, but not (foot)ball work.

Re: Nahki Wells

Spoke to Huddersfield supporters yesterday - NEVER played as a winger there, always central striker. Their main gripe was that he was being played as a lone attacker whereas he's always been lots better alongside a big man. If it's any consolation they rated him as a lot less limited than Chris Wood...

Change the style, please.

Hoof ! Anybody else find it embarrassing when throughout the second half the Hudersfield fans shouted "Hoof" every time we got the ball ? Surely it's time to at least try and play some football on the ground. Fitness teamwork and spoiling works to a certain extent but not for ever. It's our attitude...
