Messi would be the most skilful spin bowler ever to play the game, or a very technical batsman like Sachin. Ronaldo would be an incredible all rounder who would be a great quick bowler and destructive batsman in the mould of Ben Stokes.

Unless another injury has come up I would have hoped he’d have got to at least 600 wickets. He’s bowled well at good pace for these games and hasn’t got a huge amount of wickets due to conditions.

Would be good if we use Vydra to get someone like Cash and then replaced him with Pukki. Pukki goes in behind like Vydra but is a more complete striker for us at this level. Vydra and Gibson could hel give us funds for a right back, right wing, and then we can get someone like Pukki relatively cheap...

Ake is actually a very good player imo. For City, Ake is a great signing as he is good on the ball. Tarks is ok on the ball, but not as quick. I’m sure Pope can play simple balls into the centre backs. England don’t play out from the back like city, so Pope doesn’t need to be able to beat a man like Ederson. Pickford is hardly brilliant.

Taylor is better at defending and makes us better at attacking. Not because of his own assists but his pace and power driving down the left are a big part of our attacking play. Taylor has been indirectly involved in many more goals than Pieters but Erik gets the assists himself. Not knocking Pieter...

Probably very well. International teams just don’t have the same system in place that can be built at a club. The standard is definitely lowered by the lack of time spent together.

Wood is our best striker and our best goalscorer. Has to be him. Wood can play with the ball on the deck so it’s really just the mindset that changes not to hoof it. Vydra is a very good option to have with pace.
