Re: Passport problems
Brussels keeps behaving like a bitter divorced woman The UK is no longer part of the EU through our own choice. It is therefore subject to the same rules as every other country that isn't a member. They aren't being "bitter", we literally chose to not be a member any more. And frankly as someone wh...

Company that built the stands, Linpave went bust nearly 15 years ago. Not sure if there would have been any obligatory work for rectifying defective concrete if they had still been in business? After the drawn-out battle between Wrexham and Notts County last season, Paul Cook's Spireites have made it look easy this season, winning promotion with five games to go. They should smash the 100 point barrier easily. I was surprised to see WIll Grigg plays for them now. It doesn't seem long sinc...

Re: what is YOUR favourite era watching the Clarets ?
Weird one this as you’d think it would be the Dyche, Kompany and Coyle eras. Whilst these had individually unbelievable seasons, my ‘favourite era’ is actually, bizarrely, the period between 1995-2000. My first game was in 1992, but I started going on weekly (and then getting a season ticket from 9...

They did actually look at it which is why we had the wait before restarting. What a farce it would have been if they'd decided it was a foul and given Brentford a penalty rather than a goal. Surely, once they'd scored the check should have stopped. Didn't that exact scenario happen against Bournemo...

Thinking back to yesterday’s winner for Man Utd. Should a player who celebrates a goal by whipping his shirt off for a few seconds be given a yellow and as we saw yesterday then potentially sent off. He didn’t foul anyone or swear at the ref. It seems that yellow cards are thrown around so easy the...

I think Jimmy still wants his name on the international five fers board in the long room at EOT. Remarkably at his own county ground where he has an end named after him the international five fer has alluded him. Sri Lanka this summer just might be his last chance. 🌹 It would be some way to bow out!

Try living in Germany. A lot of places, especially outside of big cities, are cash only, and if they do take cards it has to be a German EC card. No Visa or MasterCard.
I've been here since April and I've probably withdrawn more cash in that 9 months than I have in 20 years in the UK.
